This cream contains 2% hydroquinone, a skin-bleaching agent that may be considered dangerous. The 2% is the legal, non-prescription, over-the-counter amount of hydroquinone currently allowed by law (you can probably get a prescription for 4% cream from your doctor). There have been warnings that continual use of hydroquinone may lead to a skin color change of blue (I think they mean that the blood vessels under your skin may start to show through the skin). I am of Asian descent, and have been using this product on a daily basis for over five years. I can only recommend this product to others of Asian descent. If you are caucasian, please be sure to talk to a dermatologist before using any amount of hydroquinone.Pros: - The dry skin formulation from Nadinola is a cream that is a surprisingly good moisturizer. I used the extra strength version of this product 3% hydroquinone, after having used another product with the same ingredient which was in a gel like form. I used the first product (gel based) for undereye circles, ended up with the eye bone area lightened while the area directly under the eye was still darker. I bought the Nadinola Extra Strength for normal skin, upon recommendation from another satisfied user, an ownder of a beauty supply store.I am quite pleased with the results, the areas under my eyes are now lighter and uniform to the previously lightened area. Am now working to tone out the rest of my face. This product does what it says, it's a great moisturizer and works wonderfully under my bronzing powder, no more need for a concealing stick or a colored makup foundation.
